At the beginning of our day (Tuesday, March 3), Mr. West and Mrs. Austin were teaching our community about orchestra. We learned that the string family (Bass, Cello, Violin, and the Viola) is just like the levels of your voice when you sing, like the Double Bass is the Bass, and Cello is Tenor and the Viola is Alto, and last but not least the Violin is Soprano.
Mr. West played some songs on the Cello, the Bass, and the Viola.
But he had two of his students play two different songs on the Violin.
Mr. West and Mrs. Austin played a song on the Bass and the Violin together. They made them sound like the drum and the flute.
