On February 12th our crew was in charge of Super Crew, which is an assembly of the community. We focused on our Expedition.
Greeting options were “The Mountain Man” and the Native American greeting “Yá’át’ééh” which means “Hello” in Navajo .
For our reading we chose the poem “A Way to Start the Day” by Byrd Baylor.
Since we had been learning a lot about the Goshute tribe which is known for their knowledge of plants and their storytelling we performed a Reader’s Theater of the Native American Tale “How Man Got Fire”.
All students were involved and had a lot of fun playing their part in Super Crew. They all did a great job!
