Acrylic Paintings

During Expedition time we have been working on acrylic paintings for our final product. The task was to create an acrylic “cute bee” painting including a “Bee”-phrase that expresses the artists feelings.

Before students started to plan their painting we discussed the rubric for our art. Students then started to paint their background, draw their plan with pencil on the canvas, and then painting it with acrylic paint.

Throughout this creative process we had a few peer critique protocols where students looked at each other’s art pieces and gave kind and specific feedback about each piece. The protocol helped the artists to make their art even better.
