Field Work to Weber State University

On October 14th we visited the Entomology Lab at the Weber State University and got to be College students for an hour.

We watched a short video about bees, their importance, and how they communicate with each other. We then got to look at different types of bees, bumblebees, and wasps under the microscope. Some of them were from our area, some of them were specimen from Hawaii and other places.

Students also had the chance to look at different books about bees and sketch some drawings after looking at bees very closely.
